Apprendre à (re)jouer Bach

On ne joue plus Bach, évidemment, comme il y a un siècle, à l’époque où les orchestres symphoniques au grand complet abordaient la musique du cantor comme celle de Brahms ou de Franck. Les interprètes dits baroques sont passés par là, et c’est précisément l’apport d’un Leonardo Garcia Alarcón qui emmène l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France et lui permet de jouer la musique du XVIIIe siècle avec son grain particulier, sa couleur propre, tout en tenant compte des apports nés de la nouvelle pratique baroque. Cette Passion selon saint Jean, proposée avec le Chœur de Radio France, est un nouveau jalon dans ce fructueux compagnonnage entre Alarcón et le Philhar.
