Leonardo Garc\u00eda-Alarc\u00f3n received the 2025 ICMA<\/strong> \u201cArtist of the Year<\/em>\u201d Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

” Leonardo Garc\u00eda-Alarc\u00f3n, although born near the R\u00edo de la Plata in Buenos Aires, has demonstrated throughout his artistic career a particular affinity for music composed in southern Europe from the late Renaissance to the dawn of Classicism, so much so that he named his ensemble Cappella Mediterranea. With this ensemble, he has demonstrated over the past decade a versatility and fertile imagination that, program after program, never ceases to surprise and captivate his audience. <\/em> \u201c \u2014 R\u00e9my Franck, president of the awards ceremony<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diot-Siaci, a long-time patron of the ensemble, attended the award ceremony honoring all of Cappella Mediterranea\u2019s patrons and partners, who are essential to the realization of its artistic projects.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the awards ceremony on March 19, 2025, Leonardo Garc\u00eda-Alarc\u00f3n conducted the D\u00fcsseldorfer Symphoniker in the magnificent Tonhalle D\u00fcsseldorf in a performance of the overture to Handel\u2019s Music for the Royal Fireworks<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
