Cette \u0153uvre extr\u00eamement populaire, devenue l&#8217;op\u00e9ra Italien le plus jou\u00e9 au 17\u00e8me si\u00e8cle est depuis lors tomb\u00e9 quelque peu dans l&#8217;oubli. L\u2019\u0153uvre de Francesco Cavalli, cr\u00e9\u00e9e au cours du carnaval v\u00e9nitien, pr\u00e9sente une mosa\u00efque d\u2019\u00e9pisodes contrast\u00e9s, riches en \u00e9motions musicales. L\u2019ouvrage, le plus jou\u00e9 au XVII\u00e8 si\u00e8cle, parle surtout des amours de Jason et M\u00e9d\u00e9e. La musique de Cavalli atteint une puissance d\u2019\u00e9vocation remarquable. La musica assujettit le drama, et <em>Il Giasone<\/em> repr\u00e9sente le subtil \u00e9quilibre entre le chant et le discours. Comique, tragique, \u00ab sur-naturel \u00bb se c\u00f4toient et s\u2019interp\u00e9n\u00e8trent. Il m\u00eale avec adresse, les fameux <em>lamenti&nbsp;<\/em>chers \u00e0 Cavalli, les sc\u00e8nes de genre avec plusieurs personnages hauts en couleurs, le travestissement, de courts&nbsp;<em>arie&nbsp;<\/em>expressifs et de tr\u00e8s belles sc\u00e8nes d\u00e9di\u00e9es au sommeil et aux r\u00eaves. On sait maintenant combien chaque production dirig\u00e9e par Leonardo Garc\u00eda-Alarc\u00f3n est un indiscutable gage de qualit\u00e9, mais on se surprend chaque fois \u00e0 se d\u00e9lecter de la justesse de la mise en place, de l\u2019allant et de l\u2019entrain insuffl\u00e9 aux interpr\u00e8tes r\u00e9unis, sans parler de la constante joie de faire revivre ensemble une musique digne d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat.&#8221;\u00a0<br><em><strong>Florent Coudeyrat pour ConcertoNet<br><\/strong><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.concertonet.com\/scripts\/review.php?ID_review=12972\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">D\u00e9couvrir l&#8217;article <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Concert Classique <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Le pari de la truculence presqu&#8217;\u00e0 outrance \u00e9tait risqu\u00e9 mais il est r\u00e9ussi tant le parti pris est ma\u00eetris\u00e9, pas v\u00e9ritablement novateur dans la forme mais formidablement r\u00e9alis\u00e9 avec un rythme qui ne faiblit pas, et en fait solidement ancr\u00e9 dans le livret qui regorge de quiproquos, transpire la lascivit\u00e9 et les pulsions sans fard (Delfa, la nourrice lubrique de Dominique Visse m\u00e9riterait des autels et des couronnes). Le ton burlesque principal laisse n\u00e9anmoins la place \u00e0 de belles respirations d&#8217;\u00e9motion et de po\u00e9sie, dont la tr\u00e8s a\u00e9rienne sc\u00e8ne du sommeil de M\u00e9d\u00e9e et Jason au troisi\u00e8me acte. [\u2026] Dans la fosse Leonardo Garcia-Alarc\u00f3n nous ravit une nouvelle fois \u00e0 la t\u00eate de Capella Mediterranea par la plasticit\u00e9, la richesse et la clart\u00e9 de sa direction. Il offre ici une r\u00e9alisation enthousiasmante, libre, foisonnante et color\u00e9e, avec des r\u00e9citatifs d&#8217;une \u00e9vidente fluidit\u00e9, pleins d&#8217;esprit, de malice m\u00eame.&#8221;<br><em><strong>Philippe Carbonel pour Concert Classique <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le courrier <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Et pour plaire il faut amuser et titiller: au lieu de chanter l\u2019\u00e9pique conqu\u00eate de la toison d\u2019or, l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u00e9taille l\u2019embarras du passif Jason entre deux reines \u00e0 qui il a donn\u00e9 des jumeaux et qui comptent bien ne pas en rester l\u00e0. On rit beaucoup des situations cocasses imagin\u00e9es, mais on est aussi \u00e9mu par les touchants lamenti d\u2019Isifile, la reine d\u00e9laiss\u00e9e.&#8221;<br><em><strong>Christophe Imperiali
